The ACCUPRO 350-50020-125C5 is a single-end corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal and hard material applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with zirconium nitride (ZrN), it delivers wear resistance and thermal stability during high-speed cutting. The tool measures 0.5 inches in diameter with a 1.25-inch length of cut, a 3-inch overall length, and a 0.125-inch corner radius. Three right-hand spiral flutes with a 37-degree variable helix promote efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. Centercutting geometry allows plunge entry. This end mill is intended for use by machinists and CNC tooling professionals in shop and production environments.
The 350-50020-125C5 is suited for milling ferrous and non-ferrous materials where corner radius geometry is required to reduce stress concentrations and improve part finish. Typical applications include profile milling, slotting, and contouring on machining centers and CNC mills. The 1/2-inch shank diameter fits standard ER and end mill holders commonly found in vertical and horizontal machining setups. The ZrN coating makes this tool particularly effective in dry or semi-dry cutting conditions where heat buildup is a concern.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or standard tooling selection for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/2-inch end mill shank. Compatible with ER32, ER40, and similar collet systems, as well as Weldon-style end mill holders sized for 1/2-inch shanks.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Confirm shank engagement depth meets the toolholder manufacturer minimum before torquing the set screw or collet nut. Inspect the cutting edges and coating for chips or damage before mounting; do not use a tool with compromised edges in production.
