It features a 0.3125-inch cutting diameter, a 0.75-inch length of cut, and three flutes ground from powdered metal substrate for uniform hardness and wear resistance. The TiAlN coating provides elevated heat resistance, making it well suited for dry or minimal-coolant cutting at higher surface speeds. With a right-hand cutting direction and right-hand flute helix of 30 degrees, this tool delivers smooth chip evacuation and consistent surface finish. It is centercutting, allowing plunge entry when the operation requires it.

This end mill is used in general machining, tool and die, mold making, and production environments where controlled chamfers are required on drilled holes, part edges, or mating surfaces.
