The ACCUPRO 31690217 is a double angle milling cutter designed for precision slot and chamfer milling operations in metalworking and toolroom applications. Machined from solid carbide, this cutter delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required for accurate, repeatable cuts in hardened steels, stainless, and non-ferrous alloys. The included angle measures 60 degrees, the cut diameter is 1/8 inch, and the cutting width is 0.036 inches. With 4 teeth and an uncoated solid carbide body, it is suited for low-to-moderate production runs where dimensional accuracy matters more than coating-enhanced tool life.
This cutter is used in CNC machining centers, manual mills, and toolroom environments for cutting dovetail slots, chamfers, and angular features at 60-degree included angles. The 1/8-inch shank diameter makes it compatible with standard collet chucks and small-bore toolholders. Typical users include machinists, tool and die makers, and precision CNC operators working on small workpieces or fine-detail features. The 1/16-inch neck diameter and 0.223-inch neck length allow access to confined areas without interference.
Designed as a standard shank-mount double angle milling cutter compatible with 1/8-inch collet chucks and toolholders used in CNC and manual milling machines.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC operators. Secure the 1/8-inch shank in a properly sized collet or toolholder and verify runout before cutting. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing or seating the cutter. Solid carbide tools are brittle — avoid dropping and do not use if the cutting edges show chipping or cracking.
