The ACCUPRO 31689318 is a double angle milling cutter designed for precision angular milling and chamfering operations in metalworking environments. Built from solid carbide, this cutter delivers the hardness and wear resistance required for consistent performance in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The included angle measures 90 degrees, the cutting diameter is 1/8 inch, and the cutting width is 0.062 inches. With a 2-inch overall length and 4 cutting teeth, it is suited for tight-tolerance work on CNC mills and manual milling machines. Machinists, toolroom technicians, and precision machining professionals are the primary users of this tool.
This cutter is applied in operations requiring angular grooves, dovetail preparation, chamfering, and similar profiling tasks on small workpieces or in restricted access areas. The 1/8-inch shank diameter fits standard collets and toolholders used on both benchtop and full-size milling machines. The 1/16-inch neck diameter and 0.937-inch neck length allow the cutter to reach into recessed features without interference from the shank. It is well-suited to precision toolroom work, prototype machining, and production applications where small-diameter angular features are required.
Designed as an OEM-style double angle milling cutter compatible with standard 1/8-inch collets and milling toolholders used on CNC and manual milling machines.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Before mounting, ensure the spindle is fully powered down and locked out per facility lockout/tagout procedures. Seat the 1/8-inch shank fully into a clean, appropriately sized collet or toolholder and torque the retention hardware according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, and never exceed the recommended RPM range for the cutter diameter and material being machined.
