The ACCUPRO 31688690 is a double angle milling cutter designed for precision notching, chamfering, and dovetail groove work on CNC and manual milling machines. Built from solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required for cutting hardened steels, stainless alloys, and non-ferrous materials. The cutter features a 90-degree included angle, a 1/8-inch cut diameter, and a 0.062-inch cutting width. With 4 teeth and an uncoated carbide body, it is suited for shops that prefer to apply their own coatings or work with materials where uncoated tooling performs best.
This cutter is used in precision machining environments where tight-tolerance angular features are required. Typical applications include V-groove milling, chamfering edges, and cutting registration marks or locating features in tooling plates. The 1/8-inch shank diameter makes it compatible with standard collet systems on vertical mills and machining centers. It is a practical choice for tool and die work, mold making, and general production machining where small-format angular cutters are needed.
Designed as a shank-mount double angle milling cutter for use with standard 1/8-inch collet chucks on CNC machining centers and manual vertical mills.
This cutter is installed and serviced by machinists and CNC operators. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully in the collet and torque the collet nut to the machine manufacturer's specification. Inspect the cutting edges under magnification before each use — solid carbide is brittle and edge chips will affect cut quality.
