The ACCUPRO 316108 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With a 3/4 inch cutting diameter and five spiral flutes ground at a 37-degree helix angle, this tool delivers efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes in a wide range of profiling, slotting, and contouring applications. The ZrN (zirconium nitride) coating improves surface hardness and wear resistance, extending tool life in demanding cuts. The micrograin carbide substrate provides the rigidity needed to maintain dimensional accuracy at both conventional and climb milling feeds. This is a centercutting design, allowing direct plunge entry into the workpiece without pre-drilling.
This end mill is suited for use in vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills in job shop, production, and maintenance machining environments. The 3/4 inch shank diameter provides positive tool holding in standard ER, end mill, or Weldon-style holders. The 1-5/8 inch length of cut accommodates typical shoulder milling and pocket depths without excessive overhang. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute geometry is standard for conventional spindle-direction setups.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or standard tooling selection for 3/4 inch end mill holders in CNC machining centers and manual mills requiring a 3/4 inch diameter, 4 inch OAL square end mill with a 5-flute solid carbide configuration.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Secure the shank fully within the tool holder to the recommended engagement depth and torque the set screw or collet nut to the holder manufacturer's specifications before spindle operation. Inspect the tool for chips or cracks before mounting. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type.
