The ACCUPRO 31598410 is a double angle milling cutter designed for precision groove, chamfer, and angular milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. Built from solid carbide, it delivers the hardness and edge retention required for cutting ferrous and non-ferrous materials at tight tolerances. The included angle measures 90 degrees, the cutting diameter is 3/32 inches, and the cutting width is 3/64 inches (0.0470 inches). With a 1/8-inch shank diameter and a compact 1-1/2-inch overall length, this cutter fits standard collet chucks and is suited for CNC machining centers and manual milling machines alike. It ships uncoated with 2 cutting teeth.
This cutter is intended for use in tool and die, mold making, precision parts manufacturing, and general machine shop work where accurate angular profiles or dovetail-style features are required. Its small cutting diameter and narrow width make it appropriate for fine detail work and confined workpiece features. Machinists and CNC programmers working on aluminum, steel, brass, and similar materials will find this cutter well matched to light-duty angular profiling tasks. The 90-degree included angle is a common geometry for chamfering edges and cutting V-grooves in production and prototype environments.
Designed for use in standard collet-style toolholding systems accepting a 1/8-inch shank diameter on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's toolholding specifications. Secure the shank fully within the collet to the recommended engagement depth before tightening. Verify spindle runout is within acceptable limits prior to cutting, as small-diameter carbide cutters are sensitive to runout and lateral deflection. Power down and lock out the machine before changing or inspecting tooling.
