The ACCUPRO 315326 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling of complex contoured surfaces, 3D profiles, and pocket finishing operations. The 3/4 inch diameter cutting head features a 3-flute spiral geometry with a 37-degree helix angle, promoting aggressive chip evacuation while maintaining a smooth surface finish. The cutting edges are coated with zirconium nitride (ZrN), which reduces friction and extends tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Micrograin carbide substrate provides the hardness and edge retention required for demanding CNC machining applications. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers specify this tool for finish and semi-finish passes.
This ball end mill is suited for vertical and horizontal machining centers performing die and mold work, contour milling, and 3D sculpting passes on materials including aluminum, steel, and alloy workpieces. The single-end configuration and 1-5/8 inch length of cut allow controlled engagement in shallow-to-moderate depth cavities. The 3/4 inch shank diameter provides rigid tool holding in standard end mill holders, collet chucks, and shrink-fit holders commonly used in production and job shop environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-specification solid carbide ball end mill for use in standard 3/4 inch end mill holders, collet chucks, and shrink-fit tooling systems on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool holder is clean and free of chips or debris before seating the shank. Verify runout with a dial indicator after clamping to confirm concentricity within tolerance. Consult the machining center manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety protocols before beginning any cutting operation.
