The ACCUPRO 315123 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.125 inch cutting diameter and a 0.25 inch length of cut, this stub-length tool delivers rigid, accurate performance in tight setups. The three-flute geometry paired with a 37-degree right-hand spiral helix promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. A zirconium nitride (ZrN) coating reduces friction and increases surface hardness, extending tool life in non-ferrous metals and alloys. Micrograin carbide construction provides the substrate toughness needed for consistent performance at elevated cutting speeds. This end mill is installed and used by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.
The ACCUPRO 315123 is suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling operations in non-ferrous materials including aluminum, brass, and copper alloys, as well as plastics. Its stub length design maximizes rigidity and minimizes deflection, making it well-suited for applications where toolholder overhang must be kept to a minimum. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. The 1/8 inch shank diameter is compatible with standard collet chucks and tool holders used on CNC machining centers and manual mills.
Designed for use with standard 1/8 inch collet chucks and end mill holders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Compatible with setups requiring a stub-length, single-end, right-hand cut square end mill with a 1/8 inch shank.
Installation is performed by machinists and CNC operators using an appropriate collet chuck or end mill holder rated for the 1/8 inch shank diameter. Ensure the tool holder and spindle are clean and free of debris before securing the end mill. Confirm runout with a dial indicator after installation to verify concentricity before beginning a cut. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety procedures when changing tooling.
