The ACCUPRO 315023 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, alloy, and composite materials. With a 3/4 inch diameter, 3-inch length of cut, and a 37-degree helix angle, this tool delivers aggressive material removal while maintaining edge stability. The micrograin carbide construction provides the hardness and wear resistance required for demanding production environments. A bright/uncoated finish makes it well-suited for applications where coating buildup is a concern or where base carbide performance is preferred. Machinists, tool-and-die makers, and CNC operators are the primary users of this end mill.
This end mill is used in milling centers and manual knee mills for profiling, slotting, and peripheral milling operations. The 3-flute configuration balances chip evacuation and cutting efficiency, making it effective in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional and climb milling setups. With a 6-inch overall length and 3/4 inch shank diameter, it fits standard ER and side-lock toolholders used in production and job-shop environments. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry when the operation requires it.
Designed for use in standard 3/4 inch milling chucks, ER collet holders, and side-lock toolholders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines that accept 3/4 inch shank tooling.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the machine spindle and toolholder are clean and free of chips before seating the shank. Torque the toolholder retention mechanism according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications — do not estimate. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production run, and confirm feed and speed parameters match the workpiece material and machine capability.
