The ACCUPRO 314934 is a single-end corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with ZrN (zirconium nitride), it delivers extended tool life and reduced edge buildup in demanding cutting environments. The 0.120-inch corner radius reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge, while the 37-degree variable-angle spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation. At 0.625 inches in diameter with a 1.625-inch length of cut and 3.5-inch overall length, it fits standard toolholding setups used in CNC machining centers and manual mills. Three right-hand flutes and a centercutting design allow both peripheral and plunge operations.
This end mill is suited for finish milling, profiling, and pocketing operations where a blended corner radius is required. It is commonly used in tool-and-die work, mold making, aerospace component machining, and general precision shop work. The ZrN coating makes it a strong choice when cutting stainless steel, alloy steels, and other abrasive materials where uncoated carbide wears prematurely. The 5/8-inch shank diameter fits standard ER collets and end mill holders found in most CNC and manual machining setups.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for standard 5/8-inch shank corner radius end mill applications using ER collets, end mill holders, or shrink-fit toolholders in CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the tool from any toolholder. Clean the shank and collet bore before seating to prevent runout caused by chips or contamination. Verify pull-out force and toolholder torque specifications per the toolholder manufacturer guidelines before beginning a cut.
