The ACCUPRO 314827 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It features a 1/2-inch cutting diameter, a 5/8-inch length of cut (0.6250 inches), and a 3-inch overall length. The 0.060-inch corner radius reduces stress concentration at the tool-workpiece junction, extending both tool life and part finish quality. A ZrN (zirconium nitride) coating improves wear resistance and lubricity at the cutting edge. With a 37-degree helix and three right-hand spiral flutes, the 314827 is center-cutting and capable of plunge entry. It is a single-end tool with a 1/2-inch shank diameter. Intended for use by machinists and CNC operators in job shop, production, and maintenance machining environments.

This end mill suits applications requiring a radius transition between a floor and a wall in a milled pocket or slot. The ZrN coating makes it well suited for cutting aluminum, stainless steel, alloy steels, and similar materials where heat buildup and edge buildup are primary concerns.
