The ACCUPRO 314614 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It features a 1/4 inch mill diameter, a 1-1/4 inch length of cut, and a 37-degree helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The ZrN (zirconium nitride) coating adds surface hardness and heat resistance, extending tool life in demanding cutting environments. With a micrograin carbide grade, this end mill maintains sharp cutting edges under high-feed and high-speed conditions. It is a single-end, centercutting tool, meaning it can plunge directly into a workpiece as well as perform side and slot milling.
