The ACCUPRO 314568 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, composites, and other hard materials. It features a 1/4 inch diameter with a 1/2 inch length of cut and a 37-degree helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. The micrograin carbide construction provides the hardness and wear resistance needed for demanding cutting applications. This tool is sold as a single-end configuration and comes in a bright, uncoated finish. It is used by machinists and CNC operators in job shops, production environments, and toolrooms.
This end mill suits a wide range of milling applications including slotting, profiling, and contouring on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 1/4 inch shank diameter and 2.5 inch overall length make it compatible with standard collet chucks and end mill holders found on vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills. The right-hand cut and right-hand spiral flute direction are standard configurations for conventional and climb milling setups.

Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the machine powered down and in a locked-out state per applicable lockout/tagout procedures. Ensure the shank is properly seated and torqued in the holder according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the collet or chuck for wear before mounting. Do not exceed the tool's rated depth of cut or feed rates for the selected workpiece material.
