The ACCUPRO 314128 is a solid carbide, center-cutting corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling operations where precise corner geometry and extended reach are required. It features a 3/4-inch mill diameter, a 1-5/8-inch length of cut (1.6250 inches), and a 6-inch overall length, making it well suited for deep-pocket and long-reach applications. The ZrN (zirconium nitride) coating improves hardness and heat resistance, extending tool life in demanding cutting conditions. With a 45-degree helix angle and two right-hand spiral flutes, this end mill delivers efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action on a wide range of materials. Micrograin carbide substrate provides rigidity and wear resistance at the cutting edge.
This end mill is used in precision machining environments including job shops, tool-and-die operations, aerospace component manufacturing, and mold and die work. The extended reach design, with a 3-3/8-inch reach length (3.3750 inches) and a neck diameter of 0.7125 inches, allows access to deep cavities and complex profiles where standard-length tools cannot reach. It is a single-end tool with a 3/4-inch shank diameter, compatible with standard collet chucks and end mill holders in that bore size. The 0.030-inch corner radius reduces stress concentration at the tool tip and leaves a controlled radius on inside corners of machined features.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit cutting tool for standard 3/4-inch bore collet chucks and end mill holders used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before loading or changing tooling. Secure the 3/4-inch shank in a properly sized, clean collet or end mill holder to the torque specifications of the holder manufacturer. Verify runout with a dial indicator before initiating a cutting program, particularly given the extended reach geometry of this tool.
