The ACCUPRO 313447 is a single-end, corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from micrograin solid carbide, this tool offers the rigidity and edge retention needed for demanding cutting applications. The 0.060 inch corner radius reduces stress concentrations at the cutting edge and produces a blended radius on inside corners. A ZrN (zirconium nitride) coating adds surface hardness and improves lubricity, extending tool life in dry or light-lubrication machining environments. With a 45-degree helix angle and two right-hand spiral flutes, it delivers smooth chip evacuation and reduced cutting forces during full-depth passes.
This end mill suits CNC machining centers and manual knee mills in job shop, tool-and-die, and general metalworking operations. The 0.750 inch diameter and 1.625 inch length of cut make it appropriate for medium-depth slotting, peripheral milling, and profiling passes where a corner radius is specified on the finished part. The centercutting geometry allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. It is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators working with steel, stainless, aluminum, and similar materials.
Designed as a standard-geometry replacement or stock cutting tool for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 3/4 inch straight shank end mill holder or collet. The manufacturer catalog reference number is A25075026060C5.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Secure the shank fully in a precision collet or end mill holder to the depth specified by the toolholder manufacturer, ensuring runout is within acceptable limits before cutting. Confirm spindle speed, feed rate, and depth of cut against published carbide end mill guidelines for the specific workpiece material before engaging the cut. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or coating damage before each use and replace the tool if edge condition is compromised.
