The ACCUPRO 313270 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal fabrication, tooling, and machining environments. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and edge retention needed for demanding cuts in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 45-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. With a 1/2 inch mill diameter, 5/8 inch length of cut, and a bright uncoated finish, this end mill suits applications where coating compatibility or cost considerations make an uncoated tool the right choice. It is a single-end, stub-length tool with right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction.
This end mill is suited for milling slots, profiles, and pockets in machine shops and production environments. The stub-length configuration provides added rigidity during aggressive cuts or in setups with limited tool overhang. It is a centercutting design, allowing plunge entry as well as conventional side milling. Machinists working with CNC machining centers, manual mills, or production tooling will find this a versatile general-purpose end mill. The 1/2 inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet systems and end mill holders common to most machining platforms.
Designed as a general-purpose replacement or production end mill for standard 1/2 inch end mill holders, ER collet chucks, and similar toolholding systems used on CNC and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Secure the shank fully within the toolholder to the recommended gauge depth and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer specifications before use. Inspect the collet or holder for wear or runout before mounting, as excessive runout will shorten tool life and degrade surface finish. Never exceed the tool's rated cutting parameters for the workpiece material.
