The ACCUPRO 312966 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, composite, and hard-material applications. Built from micrograin carbide stock, it delivers consistent edge retention at small diameters. The 3/16 inch cutting diameter pairs with a 5/16 inch length of cut and a 45-degree helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces chatter. A zirconium nitride (ZrN) coating increases surface hardness and lubricity, extending tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry. Right-hand cut and right-hand spiral flute configuration is standard for conventional CNC and manual milling setups.

This end mill fits small-part and close-tolerance milling work on CNC machining centers, knee mills, and benchtop mills. The 3/16 inch shank diameter suits standard ER collet chucks and small-bore toolholders common in precision shops.
