The ACCUPRO 312777 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in demanding machining environments. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with AlCrTiN for heat and wear resistance, this tool handles high-speed cutting in hardened steels, stainless steels, and other difficult materials. It features a 3/4 inch diameter, a 3-1/4 inch length of cut, and a 38-degree helix angle with 7 flutes for improved chip evacuation and surface finish. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction make it compatible with standard CNC machining centers and manual mills. This tool is installed and set up by machinists and tooling specialists in production and job-shop environments.
This end mill is suited for deep-cavity milling, profiling, and finishing passes where corner radius geometry reduces stress concentration and extends tool life. The 6 inch overall length provides extended reach for deeper pockets and tall workpiece features. The straight-cylindrical shank with a 3/4 inch diameter seats securely in standard end mill holders and collet chucks. Its noncentercutting design means it is intended for peripheral and slot milling rather than direct plunge operations. It belongs to the ACCUPRO Series HS lineup, targeting high-performance roughing and finishing applications.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with standard 3/4 inch end mill holders, collet chucks, or milling adapters accepting a straight-cylindrical shank. Part of the ACCUPRO Series HS lineup.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before inserting or removing the tool. Seat the shank fully into the holder to the recommended gauge line and torque the retention hardware per the holder manufacturer specifications. Because this is a noncentercutting end mill, do not use it for direct axial plunge cuts; ramp or helical entry is required when entering closed pockets.
