The ACCUPRO 312736 is a 7-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding shop environments. It carries a 3/4 inch cutting diameter with a 1-5/8 inch length of cut and a 4 inch overall length. The micrograin carbide substrate provides the hardness and edge retention needed for aggressive material removal, while the AlTiCrN coating adds thermal resistance and wear protection for extended tool life in difficult-to-machine alloys. The 38-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduced cutting forces. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals install this end mill in CNC machining centers and manual mills for finishing and semi-finishing operations.
This end mill is suited for milling operations on ferrous alloys, hardened steels, stainless, and high-temperature alloys where heat generation and tool wear are primary concerns. The 7-flute geometry increases the number of cutting edges in contact with the workpiece, boosting feed rates and surface finish quality in full-slot and peripheral milling. The single-end, right-hand cut and right-hand spiral configuration is standard for conventional CNC mill setups. The 3/4 inch shank diameter fits standard ER and end mill holders commonly found in production machining environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard production end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting 3/4 inch shank end mill holders or ER collet systems. Part of the ACCUPRO Series HS product line.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully in the holder to the recommended gauge line and torque the retention screw or collet nut according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before initiating a cut, as excessive runout will accelerate wear on a 7-flute tool at elevated feed rates.
