The ACCUPRO 312335 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. It features a 3/4 inch diameter, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 6 inch overall length, making it well suited for extended-reach applications. The 0.030 inch corner radius reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life in interrupted cuts. An AlCrTiN coating provides thermal resistance and hardness at elevated cutting temperatures. With 5 flutes, a 38-degree helix angle, and a variable index, this end mill balances chip evacuation with surface finish quality in both roughing and semi-finishing passes.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers where extended reach into deep pockets or cavities is required. The 2.5 inch reach length and reduced 0.712 inch neck diameter allow access to features that standard-length tools cannot reach without interference. It is a single-end, centercutting tool with right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction. Machinists working in aerospace, mold and die, and general precision manufacturing will find this geometry appropriate for hard steels and high-temperature alloys where AlCrTiN coating performance is most beneficial.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and direct-fit solid carbide corner radius end mill for CNC machining applications requiring a 3/4 inch shank and extended reach capability in the HS series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Secure the shank in a precision collet or end mill holder rated for the 3/4 inch shank diameter and verify runout before cutting. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before loading or removing the tool. Follow shop-standard feeds, speeds, and depth-of-cut parameters appropriate for the workpiece material and coating type.
