The ACCUPRO 312329 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for high-performance milling in demanding cutting applications. It features a 3/4 inch mill diameter, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 4 inch overall length. The corner radius measures 0.250 inches, reducing stress concentration at the cutting edge and extending tool life in interrupted cuts or hard materials. An AlCrTiN coating provides thermal resistance and hardness at elevated cutting temperatures. The 5-flute, right-hand spiral design with variable index geometry improves surface finish and reduces harmonic chatter. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry. This end mill is installed and run by machinists and CNC tool-and-die professionals on vertical and horizontal machining centers.
This end mill is suited for milling slots, pockets, and contoured profiles in ferrous and hardened materials where a corner radius profile is required to reduce stress risers or meet part print radius callouts. The extended reach design, with a 2 inch reach length and reduced neck diameter of 0.712 inches, allows access to deep features without sacrificing rigidity in the cutting zone. Typical applications include die and mold work, aerospace component machining, and general production milling where tool life and dimensional consistency are priorities.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide corner radius end mill in the ACCUPRO Series HS line. Compatible with standard 3/4 inch collet chucks, end mill holders, and hydraulic tool holders used on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified machinists or CNC operators familiar with toolholding systems and speeds-and-feeds selection for carbide end mills. Ensure the spindle and tool holder are fully powered down and locked out before loading or unloading the tool. Verify runout at the collet or holder before cutting to protect the variable index geometry and coating integrity. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended depth-of-cut parameters for this diameter and flute count.
