The ACCUPRO 312322 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in ferrous and hardened materials. It features a 3/4 inch diameter, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 4 inch overall length. The AlCrTiN coating provides heat and oxidation resistance, extending tool life in demanding cutting conditions. With five flutes, a 38-degree helix angle, and a variable index configuration, the 312322 delivers improved chip evacuation and reduced vibration. It is center-cutting capable, allowing plunge entry, and features an extended reach design with a 2 inch reach length. Micrograin carbide construction supports precision and edge integrity at elevated feeds and speeds.
The 312322 is suited for CNC machining centers and manual mills where corner radii, profiling, and contouring operations are required. The 0.1200 inch corner radius reduces stress concentration at part corners and improves surface finish on inside radii. Extended reach makes it effective in deep-pocket, cavity, and step milling applications where standard reach tooling cannot access the workpiece geometry. Right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting orientation match standard spindle configurations. Single-end design is typical for precision toolpath work in tool and die, mold making, and aerospace component machining.
Designed for use in standard 3/4 inch toolholders, collets, and shrink-fit holders on CNC machining centers and manual mills with right-hand spindle rotation. Compatible with ER, CAT, BT, and HSK tooling systems accepting a 3/4 inch shank diameter.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator with the machine in a stopped and locked-out state. Ensure the shank is fully seated and properly torqued in the toolholder before operation. Verify runout with a dial indicator before first cut to confirm concentricity. Follow the tooling manufacturer and machine OEM guidelines for feed rate and speed selection based on workpiece material and depth of cut.
