The ACCUPRO 312267 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and hardened materials. It features a 5/8 inch cutting diameter, a 3/4 inch length of cut, and a 0.030 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations at workpiece edges and extends tool life. The AlCrTiN coating provides high-temperature hardness and oxidation resistance, making it well-suited for dry or high-speed cutting applications. With a 5-flute, right-hand spiral configuration and a variable index design, this end mill delivers improved surface finish and reduced chatter. It is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling professionals in production shop environments.
This end mill is built for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where extended reach is required. The 2-3/8 inch reach length and 6 inch overall length allow the tool to access deep pockets and tall workpiece features without tool holder interference. The micrograin solid carbide substrate supports high cutting speeds and feeds in steel, stainless steel, and other demanding materials. It is a single-end, centercutting tool, meaning it can be used for plunge cutting as well as peripheral and slot milling operations.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide corner radius end mill compatible with standard 5/8 inch collets, end mill holders, and shrink-fit tooling systems used in CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer guidelines for tool holding and runout tolerance. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Verify that the shank is fully seated and properly torqued in the holder per the holder manufacturer specification. Confirm tool length offset and diameter compensation entries in the CNC controller before initiating a cut.
