The ACCUPRO 311767 is a solid carbide square end mill engineered for high-performance milling in demanding machining applications. With a 3/4 inch (0.7500 inch) mill diameter and five spiral flutes, it delivers superior chip evacuation and surface finish compared to standard four-flute designs. The 38-degree helix angle reduces cutting forces and heat buildup at the tool-workpiece interface. An AlTiCrN coating provides exceptional hardness, oxidation resistance, and extended tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. This end mill is manufactured from micrograin solid carbide, offering rigidity and wear resistance suited to high-speed cutting operations. It is installed by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.
This end mill is designed for milling operations on ferrous and hard materials where heat resistance and edge retention are critical. The single-end, right-hand cutting geometry with variable index spacing minimizes harmonic vibration during deep-slot and peripheral milling passes. A 1 inch length of cut and 3 inch overall length make it well suited for standard-depth pocketing, profiling, and contouring on vertical machining centers and CNC mills. The 3/4 inch shank diameter provides direct straight-shank toolholder compatibility without reduction sleeves in most standard ER and end mill holders.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for standard 3/4 inch straight-shank end mill holders used in CNC vertical machining centers and manual mills. Part of the ACCUPRO HS Series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Insert the shank fully into the toolholder collet or end mill holder to the minimum grip length recommended by the holder manufacturer to prevent pullout under load. Inspect the shank and holder bore for chips or contamination before assembly, as debris will affect runout and tool life.
