The ACCUPRO 311642 is a single-end, corner radius end mill ground from solid micrograin carbide and coated with AlCrTiN for extended tool life in demanding milling applications. It measures 1/2 inch in diameter with a 1-1/4 inch length of cut and a 3 inch overall length. The 5-flute geometry with a 38-degree helix and variable index spacing promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduced chatter. The 0.060 inch corner radius protects the cutting edge at the transition zone, extending service intervals compared to sharp-corner end mills. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole.

This end mill is suited for finishing and semi-finishing passes on ferrous alloys, hardened steels, and high-temperature alloys where heat resistance and edge retention are priorities. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting orientation are standard for conventional CNC machining center spindles.
