The ACCUPRO 311547 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and hardened materials. With a 3/8 inch diameter and a 0.020 inch corner radius, this five-flute, single-end tool runs with a 38-degree helix and variable index geometry to reduce harmonic chatter and improve surface finish. The AlCrTiN coating provides excellent heat resistance and wear life at elevated cutting temperatures. The overall length is 2.5 inches with a 1 inch length of cut, making it well-suited for moderate-depth peripheral and slot milling. It is centercut, allowing direct plunge entry.
