The ACCUPRO 311467 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. It features a 1/4 inch diameter, a 1-1/4 inch length of cut, and a 3 inch overall length. The tool carries an AlCrTiN coating that improves heat resistance and extends tool life in abrasive and high-temperature cutting conditions. With 5 flutes, a variable index, and a 38-degree helix, the 311467 promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces chatter during aggressive cuts. It is centercutting, which allows plunge milling in addition to standard peripheral cuts. Machinists working in job shops, tool rooms, or production environments will find this end mill suited to finishing and semi-finishing operations on hard and difficult-to-machine materials.
This end mill is built for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines where close-tolerance work is required. The 0.020 inch corner radius reduces stress concentrations at the cutting edge and leaves a blended radius on workpiece corners rather than a sharp 90-degree break. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction are standard for conventional spindle operation. It is a single-end tool with a 1/4 inch shank diameter, making it compatible with standard collet chucks and end mill holders used in typical shop setups.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard tooling option for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/4 inch shank diameter end mill holder or collet.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist familiar with toolholder torque procedures and runout inspection. Ensure the spindle and toolholder are clean and free of chips before seating the shank. Confirm runout at the tool tip with a dial indicator before beginning a cut. Do not exceed manufacturer-recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type.
