The ACCUPRO 311204 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 1/2 inch (0.5000 inch) mill diameter with a 5/8 inch length of cut and a 2-1/2 inch overall length. The four-flute configuration combined with a 38-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. An AlTiCrN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in demanding materials. The micrograin carbide substrate offers rigidity and wear resistance. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers in job shops, production facilities, and tool rooms.

The 311204 is suited for profiling, slotting, and contouring operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals where a ball-nose geometry is required for 3D surface work or radius floor features. The straight cylindrical shank measures 1/2 inch in diameter, making it compatible with standard ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and shrink-fit tooling systems.
