The ACCUPRO 311197 is a 4-flute solid carbide ball end mill designed for high-performance milling of ferrous and hardened materials. The ball nose profile produces contoured surfaces, 3D profiles, and radius features in a single pass. Constructed from micrograin carbide and coated with AlTiCrN, this end mill handles elevated cutting temperatures and abrasive workpiece materials without rapid edge breakdown. The 38-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. At 0.375 inches in diameter with a 0.5-inch length of cut and a 2-inch overall length, it fits standard toolholders and suits a wide range of CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers.

This end mill is suited for finish milling, semi-finish milling, and profiling operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hardened alloys.
