The ACCUPRO 311023 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in demanding production environments. Built to a 3/4 inch diameter with a 0.030 inch corner radius, it runs a 4-flute, right-hand spiral configuration with a 38-degree helix angle. The AlCrTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in ferrous and high-temperature alloy materials. With a 6 inch overall length and a 2.5 inch extended reach, this end mill handles deep-cavity and long-reach applications that shorter tools cannot access. It is centercutting and supports plunge entry. Machinists and CNC programmers in job shops, aerospace, and die-mold environments are the primary users.
This end mill is suited for milling operations requiring a blend of reach and rigidity. The 1 inch length of cut handles moderate depth-of-cut passes while the extended reach geometry allows work in deep pockets, tall workpiece features, and confined setups. The variable index flute spacing reduces harmonic chatter at higher feed rates, making it appropriate for both roughing and semi-finishing passes on steel, stainless, and hardened materials when used with appropriate speeds and feeds. Single-end construction means it is replaced rather than reindexed when the cutting edge wears.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-application solid carbide corner radius end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 3/4 inch straight shank tool holder.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC tooling technician. Secure the 3/4 inch shank in a compatible collet, end mill holder, or shrink-fit toolholder, and confirm runout before running. Always power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type, as overloading a carbide end mill can result in sudden tool fracture.
