The ACCUPRO 310395 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. With a 0.625 inch mill diameter and a 1.625 inch length of cut, this single-end tool runs a 38-degree helix angle to promote chip evacuation and reduce cutting forces. The AlCrTiN coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection, making it well-suited for cutting hardened steels, stainless, and high-temperature alloys. Four flutes with a variable index geometry reduce harmonic vibration during cut. The straight cylindrical shank measures 0.625 inches in diameter and fits standard ER and side-lock toolholders. Licensed machinists and CNC setup technicians are the primary installers.
This end mill is intended for use in vertical and horizontal machining centers running production or job-shop work on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The corner radius geometry — 0.0600 inch radius — reduces stress concentrations at the cutting edge and improves surface finish on pocketing, profiling, and finishing passes. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. The 3.5 inch overall length provides adequate reach for moderate-depth cavities while maintaining rigidity. Right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting orientation are standard for conventional CNC spindle setups.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-stock end mill for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 0.625 inch straight cylindrical shank.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC toolsetter. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the toolholder and verify runout with a dial indicator before engaging the cut. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type.
