The ACCUPRO 310295 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. It features a 0.500 inch mill diameter, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 3 inch overall length, making it well suited for medium-depth profiling, slotting, and contouring operations. The AlCrTiN coating provides excellent heat resistance and wear protection at elevated cutting speeds. With four flutes, a 38-degree helix angle, and a variable index design, this end mill reduces chatter and improves surface finish. It is centercutting, allowing plunge entry directly into the workpiece. Intended for use by machinists and tooling professionals on CNC milling machines and manual mills.
This end mill is a single-end tool built for right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction. It is appropriate for use in aerospace, die and mold, and general metalworking applications where a controlled corner radius and tight tolerances are required. The 0.120 inch corner radius provides edge strength and reduces stress concentrations at the bottom of milled features. The straight-cylindrical shank with a 0.500 inch shank diameter fits standard ER and end mill holders without modification. Micrograin solid carbide construction supports aggressive feeds and speeds on hardened steels, stainless, and high-temperature alloys.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide corner radius end mill for standard 1/2 inch straight-cylindrical end mill holders used in CNC and manual milling machines across general machining, die and mold, and aerospace applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the holder to the recommended grip depth and torque the set screw or collet nut per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the corner radius and cutting edges for chips or damage before first use and after each run on hard materials.
