The ACCUPRO 310013 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It carries a 1/8 inch cutting diameter, a 1/2 inch length of cut, and a 4-flute spiral configuration that promotes efficient chip evacuation and surface finish quality. The 38-degree helix angle improves cutting stability and reduces chatter during operation. An AlTiCrN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life when cutting ferrous and hardened materials. The micrograin carbide substrate adds toughness and edge retention under demanding feed rates. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working in job shops, tool rooms, and production environments.
This end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and finishing cuts in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar materials. The single-end, right-hand cutting configuration fits standard collet toolholding systems. The 1/8 inch shank diameter matches the cutting diameter, allowing use in small-bore collets and high-speed spindles. With a 2 inch overall length, it fits compact setups without extended reach. The variable index geometry helps reduce harmonic vibration during aggressive cuts, making it appropriate for both roughing and semi-finishing passes where tool deflection must be controlled.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard tooling option for CNC machining centers and manual mills using 1/8 inch collets or ER-style toolholders in the HS series product line.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and de-energized before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet and torque the collet nut to the toolholder manufacturer's specification using the appropriate spanner wrenches. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut, and confirm spindle speed and feed rate are set per the material and coating manufacturer's recommendations.
