The ACCUPRO 30113-00T is a spiral point tap designed to cut 5/16-24 UNF internal threads in through-hole applications. Spiral point geometry pushes chips forward ahead of the cutting action, reducing chip packing and enabling cleaner thread formation at production feed rates. The tap is manufactured from powdered metal for improved wear resistance compared to standard high-speed steel, and it carries a titanium nitride (TiN) coating to extend tool life and reduce friction during the cut. With a plug chamfer and H3 thread limit, it is suited to close-tolerance work in a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Machinists and tool-room technicians install this tap in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and tapping arms.

This tap is used in job shop, production machining, and maintenance-repair environments where 5/16-24 UNF threaded holes are required.
