The three-flute spiral geometry combined with a 37-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. A zirconium nitride (ZrN) coating improves surface hardness and wear resistance, extending tool life in demanding materials. The micrograin carbide substrate provides the rigidity needed for tight-tolerance work. This tool is centercutting, allowing both plunge and ramp entry.
