The ACCUPRO 2500230 is a single-end square end mill designed for high-performance material removal in aluminum and non-ferrous metals. It features a 5/16 inch diameter cutting edge with a 7/16 inch length of cut and a 2-1/2 inch overall length. Constructed from micrograin solid carbide, the tool carries a ZrN (zirconium nitride) coating that reduces friction and extends tool life when cutting non-ferrous materials. The variable helix geometry, ranging from 30 to 40 degrees, reduces harmonics and chatter during the cut. This stub-length end mill is suited for CNC machining centers and manual mills operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals.

This end mill is built for cutting aluminum, brass, copper, and other non-ferrous materials where chip evacuation and surface finish are critical. The stub length type provides rigidity in tight-clearance setups where reach is limited.
