The ACCUPRO 2500193 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal cutting and machining environments. It features a 3/4 inch diameter, a 3-1/4 inch length of cut, and a 6 inch overall length, placing it in the long-reach category for deeper pocketing and slotting applications. The five-flute configuration and 45-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action in a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Micrograin carbide construction provides wear resistance and edge retention under demanding cutting conditions. This is a single-end, right-hand cutting tool with a bright/uncoated finish, suited for use where coating is not required or where the workpiece material performs better without one.
This end mill is used in CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and manual milling machines across job shops, tool and die operations, and production machining environments. The long length of cut makes it well suited for deep slot milling, side milling, and profiling where standard-length tools cannot reach. The 3/4 inch shank diameter is compatible with standard ER collets, end mill holders, and shrink-fit tooling. Machinists and CNC programmers working in general metalworking, mold making, and precision component manufacturing will find this tool appropriate for applications requiring a long reach with a full-width cut.
Designed as a standard 3/4 inch shank square end mill compatible with ER collet chucks, shell mill adapters, and end mill holders sized for 3/4 inch tooling on CNC machining centers and conventional vertical milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool holder is clean and free of chips before mounting. Seat the shank to the full recommended engagement depth in the holder and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning the cut, as excessive runout will accelerate tool wear and degrade surface finish.
