The ACCUPRO 2500134 is a solid carbide chamfer mill designed for precision chamfering operations on metal and other hard materials. With a 3/16 inch cutter head diameter and a 60-degree included angle, this single-end tool cuts right-hand with a 2-flute geometry that balances chip evacuation and edge stability on smaller features. The bright, uncoated carbide surface is well-suited for non-ferrous metals and materials where coating buildup would reduce edge sharpness. At 2 inches overall length with a 3/16 inch shank diameter, the tool fits standard collet and end mill holders common in CNC and manual milling setups. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals will find this geometry appropriate for deburring, countersinking, and edge-prep work.
This chamfer mill is intended for light to medium chamfering applications in machine shops, production environments, and maintenance machining settings. The 3/16 inch diameter makes it appropriate for small-feature chamfering on tight geometries where larger tools cannot access. The uncoated carbide construction performs well in aluminum, brass, copper, and similar non-ferrous materials, as well as plastics. It is compatible with standard collet chuck systems and end mill holders that accept a 3/16 inch shank.
Designed as an OEM-style chamfer mill compatible with standard collet chuck and end mill holder systems accepting a 3/16 inch shank diameter.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the machine in a powered-off, locked-out state per applicable lockout/tagout procedures. Ensure the shank is fully seated and secured in the collet or holder to the manufacturer torque specification for the holder being used. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, as solid carbide is brittle and susceptible to edge fracture if dropped or impacted. Do not exceed the tool or machine manufacturer recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material.
