The ACCUPRO 2500122 is a solid carbide chamfer mill designed for precise chamfering operations on metalworking and fabrication applications. With a 3/4-inch cutter head diameter and a 90-degree included angle, this single-end tool cuts clean, accurate chamfers in a single pass. The two-flute geometry provides efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The bright, uncoated finish makes this mill well-suited for non-ferrous metals, plastics, and general-purpose ferrous applications where coating buildup is not a concern. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals specify this type of end mill for deburring edges, chamfering drilled or bored holes, and preparing mating surfaces before assembly.
This chamfer mill is used in CNC machining centers, manual knee mills, and toolroom applications. The 3/4-inch shank diameter provides solid rigidity in standard end-mill holders, collet chucks, and hydraulic toolholders. The right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional milling operations. With a 4-inch overall length, the tool offers adequate reach for most fixture setups without sacrificing rigidity. It is commonly used in job shops, production machining environments, and maintenance machining situations where a reliable chamfering tool is required on short notice.
Designed as a standard single-end chamfer mill with a 3/4-inch straight shank, compatible with end-mill holders, ER collet chucks, and hydraulic or shrink-fit toolholders sized for 3/4-inch shank tooling.
Installation and tool changes should be performed with the machine fully powered down and the spindle at a complete stop. Ensure the shank is clean and free of chips or burrs before seating in the toolholder, and torque the retention fastener per the toolholder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator after clamping to confirm proper seating before beginning a cut. Follow applicable shop safety procedures and machine guarding requirements during operation.
