The ACCUPRO 2500052 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with TiCN (Titanium Carbonitride), it handles demanding cuts with good wear resistance and edge retention. The 1/2 inch cutting diameter and fine-pitch, 5-flute geometry produce a controlled chip load suited for finishing passes after roughing or for softer materials where fine pitch excels. At 1.25 inches length of cut and 3 inches overall length, this is a standard-reach tool intended for general-purpose milling work performed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals.

This end mill is suited for use in vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills where a 1/2 inch shank is compatible with the spindle or collet system. The right-hand cutting direction and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional and climb milling operations. The TiCN coating extends tool life when cutting ferrous and non-ferrous materials. This tool is not centercutting, so it cannot be plunged directly into a workpiece and requires a pre-drilled entry point or ramping approach.
