The ACCUPRO 20353 is a jobber-length drill bit designed for precision drilling in hard and abrasive materials. Built from solid carbide and coated with titanium nitride (TiN), it delivers extended tool life and reduced heat buildup compared to high-speed steel alternatives. The 9/64 inch (0.1400 inch) diameter bit features a 150-degree drill point angle, which reduces thrust and walking on entry, making it well suited for production drilling environments. At 2.5 inches overall length with a 7/8 inch flute length, it fits standard jobber-length applications. Three spiral flutes evacuate chips efficiently and support consistent hole finish in tight-tolerance work.
This bit is intended for use in metalworking, fabrication, and maintenance applications where carbide tooling is specified over HSS. Right-hand cutting direction makes it compatible with conventional drill presses, CNC machining centers, and hand-held power tools with standard chucks. The straight cylindrical shank fits into standard drill chucks without adapters. It is appropriate for drilling ferrous and non-ferrous metals, hardened alloys, and composite materials where TiN coating provides meaningful surface hardness and lubricity advantages. It meets ANSI specification designation standards.

Installation and use of this bit should be performed by machinists or qualified trades personnel familiar with carbide tooling procedures. Secure the straight shank fully in the drill chuck before operation and verify runout is within acceptable limits, as carbide is brittle and sensitive to lateral loading. Do not use carbide drill bits in hammer or percussion mode. When replacing a worn bit, inspect the chuck and spindle for damage that could cause runout and premature carbide breakage.
