The ACCUPRO 1542816 is a sealed hydraulic chuck sleeve designed for use with hydraulic tool-holding chucks in CNC machining applications. It accepts tooling with a 3/8 inch inside diameter and fits into chuck bores with a 1/2 inch outside diameter. The head diameter measures 16.5 mm with a length under head of 45 mm. Constructed from alloy steel, this sleeve delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required for precision milling, drilling, and reaming operations. The sealed sleeve type helps contain hydraulic pressure within the chuck body, while the through-coolant feature allows cutting fluid to pass directly to the tool tip for improved chip evacuation and tool life.
This sleeve is suited for use in production machining environments where hydraulic chucks are the preferred workholding method. It is typically installed in horizontal and vertical machining centers running high-speed finishing or semi-finishing operations. The sealed design is particularly well-suited for applications where consistent hydraulic clamping force and coolant delivery are critical to maintaining dimensional accuracy and surface finish. Machinists and toolroom technicians working with 3/8 inch shank tooling will find this sleeve a direct-fit replacement for worn or damaged OEM sleeves.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement sleeve for hydraulic chucks accepting 3/8 inch inside diameter sealed sleeves with a 1/2 inch outside diameter. This part replaces SKU 37313269.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician familiar with hydraulic chuck systems. Before replacing the sleeve, ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the hydraulic chuck pressure is fully released according to the chuck manufacturer's service procedure. Inspect the chuck bore for debris or damage before seating the new sleeve. Do not exceed the chuck manufacturer's specified clamping pressure after sleeve installation.
