The ACCUPRO 15024270 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in tight-tolerance applications. With a 0.0938-inch diameter, a 0.0150-inch corner radius, and a 4-flute spiral geometry, it delivers controlled material removal and a smooth finish on ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. The micrograin carbide construction provides rigidity and wear resistance at small diameters. At 1.5 inches overall length with a 0.625-inch length of cut, this single-end, centercutting tool is built for the miniature series and is suited to CNC machining centers and manual mills running small-diameter work.
This end mill is used in machining applications that require small-diameter corner radius profiling, slotting, and contouring. Typical scenarios include die and mold work, medical component machining, aerospace detail parts, and electronic enclosure features where corner blending and tight dimensional tolerances are critical. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with standard spindle rotation. A 30-degree helix angle provides a balance between chip evacuation and cutting force for miniature-scale cuts.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature series corner radius end mill compatible with standard 1/8-inch collets and tool holders on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist familiar with small-diameter tooling procedures. Secure the 1/8-inch shank fully within the collet to the recommended gauge-line depth before tightening to avoid runout and premature breakage. At this diameter, even slight collet contamination or misalignment significantly increases breakage risk, so collet and spindle taper should be clean and free of chips before mounting. Always verify spindle speed and feed rate against the cutting tool manufacturer recommendations for the workpiece material before engaging the cut.
