The ACCUPRO 15024238 is a miniature solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-precision milling operations in tight-tolerance applications. With a 0.0250-inch mill diameter and a 0.0050-inch corner radius, this tool produces fine detail work where standard end mills cannot reach. It features three flutes with a right-hand spiral and a 30-degree helix angle, delivering efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The micrograin carbide construction provides the hardness and rigidity needed for consistent performance in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Centercutting capability allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole.
This end mill fits applications requiring miniature precision work, including mold and die machining, aerospace component finishing, and intricate prototype fabrication. The extended-reach geometry, with a 0.1250-inch reach length and a 0.875-inch length of cut, gives machinists access to recessed pockets and stepped features. The 1/8-inch shank diameter suits standard collet chucks and ER-style toolholders commonly used on vertical machining centers and CNC mills running miniature tooling. The bright, uncoated finish is suitable for use with or without cutting fluid.
Designed as a miniature-series replacement or direct-use end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with 1/8-inch collet or toolholder systems requiring a 0.0250-inch diameter corner radius end mill.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before loading or removing tooling. Seat the 1/8-inch shank fully and evenly in the collet to the recommended engagement depth per the toolholder manufacturer's specifications. Inspect the cutting edges under magnification before use, as miniature carbide tools are brittle and susceptible to chipping if mishandled or dropped.
