The ACCUPRO 15024236 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-precision milling in demanding machining environments. Built for miniature-scale work, it features a 0.0156-inch mill diameter, a 0.0030-inch corner radius, and three right-hand spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle. The AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection, making it suitable for dry or high-speed cutting in hardened steels, stainless, and superalloys. The centercutting geometry allows for plunge entry, and the extended-reach design supports access to deeper workpiece features. This tool is installed by machinists and tooling technicians operating CNC mills and manual vertical machining centers.
This end mill is suited for precision contouring, slot milling, and pocket work in small-feature or micro-machining applications. The miniature series designation indicates its use in applications requiring fine detail work, such as mold and die, aerospace components, medical device manufacturing, and small-part production. The single-end, right-hand cutting configuration is standard for conventional CNC setups. With an overall length of 2.5 inches and a 0.125-inch shank diameter, it fits collet systems and end mill holders designed for 1/8-inch shank tooling.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use miniature end mill compatible with CNC machining centers and manual mills using 1/8-inch shank collets or end mill holders.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Secure the shank fully within the collet or holder to the recommended engagement depth before tightening, and verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting. At this diameter, even minor runout causes premature tool failure. Always confirm spindle RPM and feed rate are appropriate for the workpiece material and tool diameter before engaging the cut.
