The ACCUPRO 14981779 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling in steel and other ferrous materials. Built to Series 524 specifications, this single-end tool features a 1/16 inch (1.59 mm) mill diameter with four flutes in a right-hand spiral configuration. The AlTiN coating provides heat resistance at cutting speeds typical of steel machining. With an extra-long classification and an overall length of 2.5 inches, this end mill is suited for reaching into pockets, slots, and cavities where standard-length tools fall short. It is center-cutting, allowing plunge entry directly into the workpiece.
