The ACCUPRO 14899852 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. At 0.025 inches in diameter with a 0.075-inch length of cut and a 1/8-inch shank diameter, this tool targets micro-milling applications where tight tolerances and fine feature detail are required. The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating provides elevated heat resistance and surface hardness, extending tool life in harder workpiece materials. Micrograin carbide construction supports rigidity at small diameters where tool deflection and breakage risk are highest. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on CNC machining centers and precision manual mills.
This end mill is suited for fine detail work in mold and die applications, medical component machining, aerospace part features, and electronics fixture fabrication. The extended reach geometry, with a 0.213-inch reach length, allows access to recessed features and stepped pockets without requiring a longer overall tool. The 1.5-inch overall length keeps the tool compact and stable in close-clearance setups. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC spindle use.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and precision mills accepting a 1/8-inch shank diameter collet or end mill holder. Suitable for milling operations within a length-of-cut range of 0.0000 to 0.1000 inches.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard toolholding procedures for small-diameter carbide end mills. Ensure the collet or end mill holder is clean and within tolerance for the 1/8-inch shank before seating the tool. At this diameter, excessive runout or improper clamping force significantly increases breakage risk. Confirm spindle speed and feed rate settings are appropriate for a 0.025-inch carbide tool in the target material before initiating a cut.
