The ACCUPRO 14899845 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.055-inch cutting diameter and a length of cut of 0.165 inches, this tool is built for small-feature work where tight tolerances are critical. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral design with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and stable cutting performance. Micrograin carbide construction provides hardness and wear resistance suited for high-speed operations. The bright, uncoated finish makes this a general-purpose choice where coating is not required or desired. Installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling professionals.
This end mill suits precision CNC milling and manual machining operations involving small-diameter cuts in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The centercutting capability allows for plunge milling in addition to peripheral and slot milling. The extended reach design, with a 0.500-inch reach length, provides access to features in recessed or hard-to-reach workpiece geometries. It is a single-end tool with a 0.125-inch shank diameter, fitting standard collets and tool holders of that size. The 1.500-inch overall length keeps the tool compact for rigid setups.
Designed for use in standard CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 0.125-inch shank diameter collet or end mill holder. Compatible with applications requiring a length of cut in the 0.100- to 0.200-inch range.
This tool is installed and changed by machinists and CNC setup technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Secure the shank fully within the collet or tool holder to the recommended engagement depth per the holder manufacturer. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or wear before each use, as micro-diameter carbide tools are brittle and susceptible to breakage if mishandled or run with improper feeds and speeds.
