The ACCUPRO 14899836 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.02-inch cutting diameter and a 0.06-inch length of cut, this tool is built for micro-milling work where tight tolerances are critical. The four-flute, right-hand spiral geometry with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. An AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating increases surface hardness and thermal resistance, extending tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. The micrograin carbide substrate provides rigidity and wear resistance at small diameters where deflection and breakage are primary concerns. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is suited for finishing passes and contour milling in small-part, high-precision applications such as mold and die work, aerospace components, and medical device manufacturing. The extended reach design and 0.17-inch reach length allow access to deeper features without tool interference. The 0.125-inch shank diameter fits standard collet chucks and tool holders common in CNC machining centers and manual mills. It is a single-end tool intended for right-hand cutting direction.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide square end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with standard 0.125-inch collet or tool holder systems.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by qualified machinists with the machine powered down and in a safe, locked-out state. Ensure the collet and tool holder are clean and within tolerance before seating the 0.125-inch shank. At micro diameters, runout must be minimized — verify TIR with a dial indicator before cutting. Follow the machine manufacturer and tooling manufacturer guidelines for feed rates and speeds appropriate to the workpiece material.
